I'm a student, and honestly studying alone is miserable. You read the same page three times, zone out, open Instagram, and suddenly it's 2am and you've learned nothing. I wanted something that would actually talk to me while I studied - quiz me, correct me, explain things simply when I'm lost. Not a chatbot I have to type at. A voice. So I built Meera - a voice AI study partner. You upload your PDF (or literally photograph pages from your textbook with your phone camera, even handwritten notes work), and Meera takes over. You never touch a keyboard. You just talk. ElevenLabs Conversational AI agent is the core of the whole thing. Meera listens to your answer, evaluates it, gives feedback, and fires the next question - all as a natural back-and-forth conversation. She has four study modes you can switch between just by asking: • Learn mode where she teaches a concept and then checks your understanding • Flashcards for classic open-ended Q&A • MCQ where she gives you four options and waits for your spoken answer • Rapid Fire for quick short-answer drills when you want to test yourself fast She tracks your accuracy across all answered questions, maintains a streak when you're on a roll, and remembers which topics you keep getting wrong so she can come back to them. The whole experience feels like sitting with a tutor - she explains things simply when you're stuck, adjusts difficulty as you improve, and keeps the session moving. For Cursor - I used it for everything. I described the whole architecture and had it generate the plan. Then I used it to write the ElevenLabs session management (which had a bunch of annoying edge cases - double disconnect calls, stale react state, dashboard permission errors I spent way too long on), the WebGL iridescence shader for the animated orb that pulses when Meera speaks, the Gemini Vision OCR pipeline so you can photograph book pages, and the full UI.
