There's a really big potential problem in the coming future. The end of the world. And if that happens, how would we solve the solutions human need to survive from scratch? WildMind is a living, self-teaching persistent AI simulation where 30 independent AI agents — each a separate language model — are dropped into a procedurally-generated world with nothing. No language. No culture. No shared memory. No knowledge of survival, medicine, agriculture, fire, or each other. We use ElevenLabs to capture the language development. Agents develop proto-words — invented sound-sequences that acquire shared meaning through repeated co-occurrence with context. The sound "kroh-tuh" said near fire enough times, by enough agents, in enough interactions, becomes the tribal word for fire. This emergence follows real mathematical laws: Zipf's Law (word frequency distributions), Heaps' Law (vocabulary growth curves), and small-world network topology — the same patterns that govern every human language on Earth, appearing without instruction. You can listen along as the develop their language thanks to ElevenLabs, on a massive information dashboard where you can track every tick from every world hosted by Replit. The end goal is to publish **A Guide to Restarting Human Civilization** — a living, multimedia document synthesized from simulation data and made available to researchers, institutions, and anyone studying civilizational resilience.

An AI camera watches it 24/7, spots disease or stress before you do, and the plant describes what it sees on itself. Multiple plants share a garden brain and gossip about each other. All of it runs on Cloudflare — 600+ live AI agents, one per plant, always on. All of the voice is ElevenLabs — TTS, speech-to-text, conversational agents, and music generation. Your plant has known what it needs this whole time. Now it can finally say so.

A Bigfoot in a suit and tie reacts to your query, reads every headline out loud, drops his unfiltered 400-year-old opinion, and personally roasts the results with a custom AI-generated punchline every time — all in real-time with a custom cloned voice. No two searches are the same. You can also talk to him directly through a live AI avatar. We believe in the near future, every brand, celebrity, and business will interact with their audience in this format — character-driven, voice-powered, personality-first. SearchSquatch is the proof of concept for what's coming. Firecrawl's Search API powers every query — up to 40 real-time web results that feed both the CRT display and the voice script. A dedicated agent endpoint also lets the D-ID avatar call Firecrawl as a tool for data processing or caching after the conversation ends. We used a custom cloned voice via TTS for all reactions and headline reading, ElevenLabs Agents via Conversational AI WebSocket API for contextual commentary generation, and Sound Effects API for the ambient office atmosphere. Every search gets a unique voice performance!
